While many assume his name implies a Florida origin, he is a lifelong Philly native; the moniker was "gifted" to him by a clubgoer who felt his high-energy style mirrored the "Miami sound" of the 1980s.
Steve is known for his in-depth, informative, and entertaining music article writings and reviews about the Freestyle and Miami Bass genres dating back to D.M.A. Dance Music Authority Magazine, as well as his own monthly promotional tipsheet --Miami Hot Traxx. Current Venues: He continues to perform live at local establishments such as the E House in Bensalem, Gleason's Bar in Levittown, The Point (Somers Point, Sea Isle, Wildwood), and Hemingway's inside The Grand Hotel in Cape May, NJ emphasizing an interactive "open-format" style that incorporates real-time audience requests.
